Mana Thistle and Adamantite Farming
If you are a herbalist you can make a killing off harvesting Mana Thistles and Adamantite and selling them off at Auction House.

This will give you a list of all the spots, with designation markers, of where Mana Thistle spawns.

This is for adamantite, but there are many more spawn locations than Mana Thistle, so you're probably best off just discovering the locations on your own.

You can use the add-on, Gatherer, to help you with collections. After you attempt to collect a node, of mineral or herb, it will permanently record the spot on your map so that after several travels through an area you will have most of the spawn points and you will not have to wander.
